Unlike other curling and straightening irons, the Cool Flow achieves results at lower temperatures, reducing damage to your wig or hairpiece. The cooling function automatically activates once the selected temperature setting has been reached. No waiting for the hair to cool--Cool Flow Dual Styler technology curls or straightens hair instantly. Complete instructions come with every iron.
*Note: For use only on heat-friendly synthetic fiber and human hair. Regular synthetic fiber will melt when exposed to heat.

Tressalure Cool Flow Dual Styler
I looked at reviews from influencers from the wig community who I like and trust before I purchased this product., They called it a “game changer”. I do agree, with the caveat that there is a learning curve when you start using it. I tackled a wig that needed a lot of intervention with the curl pattern. For me to get the desired curl, I used the Tressalure Dual Leave In Conditioner and a canvas head on a clamp-style stand. I learned that to get the curl, I had to be careful to keep it on the lowest setting. It is easy to increase the temperature with the touch of the button, which could be disastrous on an HD fiber piece. It also requires working quickly, twisting with the wrist and releasing in one motion. It’s perfect for the curl pattern where the curl ends in a straight section., That was not my desired curl, but I eventually got what I wanted. This is a pricey tool that I fortunately got on a fabulous sale from Mimi’s. Is it worth the full price? Not to me, but I am not a big fan of heat-styling wigs and my use of it will be pretty limited. As a duel tool, it may be a real bargain.. For reference, the wig I worked on was Trend Alert by Gabor. I used the Hot Tools Hot Air Brush on the highest heat setting to train the bang away from the face and used the Dual Styler to tame the pieces that stuck out too much (for me) on the sides and back. I still need to use a razor on the long pieces that frame the face before I’ll be satisfied with my efforts. I’d also say it would work very well as a flat iron. I have never owned one and it’s nice that I now have this two-in-one tool if I need it.
